This workshop by Soundcamp is an introduction to Ecological Radio. It covers:
- Open Radio Station Walkthrough
- Assembling Hardware (off grid stream boxes)
- Mobile Streaming Software (Locuscast and BUTT)
- Listening session and radio broadcast
Over the course the afternoon at Project DIVFUSE Soundcamp will introduce the workflow of our open radio studio, build streamboxes for live sound transmission, and learn about open source software options for streaming via mobile phone and laptop. At the end of the workshop we will co-create a listening session from the streams we produce. This will run as a radio broadcast relayed live to Soundcamp’s partners Wavefarm in Acra, New York.
