Project DIVFUSE<\/strong> first opened the doors of its art space \/ micro gallery to the public in July 2021. The project aims to provide a platform for multimedia artists to showcase their work as well as a forum to discuss about their concepts and practices with the audience. The team has been mainly working with sound artists, field recordists, experimental film film-makers and visual artists. This intimate room (130 sq.ft, 4.6m x 2.8m) is located in a quiet part of Hackney, London, and can be used as a venue for hosting exhibitions, screenings, workshops, artists’ talks, and small performances. Our events all bear the aim of sharing thinkings and nurturing artistic developments. In front of the gallery entrance, there is a communal courtyard which can provide some extra outdoor space to use if needed. The space is best suited for holding solo exhibitions so that one artist and their practice can be focused at a time for deeper discourse. We very much look forward to collaborating with different artists and creatives and allowing this inspiring community to grow together organically.<\/p>\n

Project DIVFUSE<\/strong> is primarily a not-for-profit artist run platform. Please support us so that we can help to diffuse diverse creative ideas and inspirations into the wider community. The way it operates is that we will work together to manage and promote the activities.<\/p>\n

About The Founder :<\/b><\/p>\n

Having based in the UK since 2008, Livia Garcia is a practising railway civil engineer and a visual artist. She completed her Masters Degree in Fine Art MA(FA) from the University of Leeds as a full scholarship recipient in 2009. She started Project DIVFUSE, <\/strong>an experimental space, to provide a platform for sound and multimedia art. With her own creative practice, Livia has been making geometric silent film scores and collaborates with sound artists\/improvisers often in live performances. \u00a0She had worked and volunteered in other venues in London for a few years before opening her own space.
